Mike joined CHS in January, 2016, bringing 25 years of global strategic leadership in the medical industry. He has had several international senior leadership positions including Platform Leader Medication Workflow Systems, Commercial Leader Europe for Medical Surgical Systems and Director – Canada for BD Global. Prior to BD Mike has held senior management positions with Johnson & Johnson, Iovate Health Sciences and Baxter in the US, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Mike has participated and held varying positions on many boards within the health care industry domestically and internationally.
Kim joined CHS in October, 2015. Prior to CHS Kim was CFO at Mitten a publicly traded building products company. She also has extensive Tier 1 automotive experience as CFO for AP Plasmon Co., and Quality Safety Systems both in Windsor. Kim brings strong technical skills to CHS in the areas of financial reporting, performance measurement, budgeting, financing, cash flow management and planning, managing lender, legal, audit and private equity relationships as well as high level policy setting and strategic planning.
Glenda joined CHS in August, 2015. Prior to this she was VP HR & HSE at Air Distribution Technologies (HVAC) with overall strategic, financial and functional accountability for HR & HSE for 46 factory operations and 7 distribution entities employing over 7,500 people and delivering $1B of revenues. Glenda has a proven ability to create shareholder value by building organizational capabilities, integrating human capital strategy into overall organizational objectives, producing strong employee engagement and business results.
Gary is responsible for all sales and customer relations for CHS. He has spent 21 years in the healthcare industry, all of which have been with CHS in various sales capacities. Gary began his career with CHS as a Territory Manager, eventually taking responsibility for the Toronto downtown area. In 1998, he was promoted to Director of Sales where he was responsible for the National sales team and managing customer relations. He went on to hold several key roles in the organization such as Vice President of Strategic Hospital Accounts and Vice President of Sales. Gary currently serves on the Board of the Canadian MedTech Manufacturer's Alliance (CMMA), part of the MEDEC organization representing Canada's innovative medical technology industry. He is also an active member of the Healthcare Supply Chain Network (HSCN) of providers and suppliers.
Roger manages the National sales team and oversees all customer relations for CHS' Medical division as Vice President of Medical Sales, a position he has held since 2012. He began his career in healthcare as Director of Professional and Technical Services for Virox Technologies and has over 15 years of experience in the Canadian healthcare industry. Roger joined CHS in 2005 and spent two years as Territory Manager before becoming Director of Sales. He has successfully managed the CHS sales team during the most aggressive growth period in the Company's history. He is a member of the Healthcare Supply Chain Network (HSCN) of providers and suppliers.
Joanne Richard oversees the manufacturing and operations team and leads the continuous improvement effort at CHS. Throughout her 20 year career she has held several operations, business process improvement and supply chain roles in both the consumer packaged goods and pharmaceutical industry. She has hands-on experience in capital project engineering, lean manufacturing, product commercialization and large scale start-ups. Joanne is a Chemical Engineer from University of Waterloo, a certified six-sigma black belt and has a Professional Engineering License with PEO.
Vince Morelli joined CHS in April 2014. He is responsible for the marketing and business development efforts of our Med-Rx branded products. Vince's career in Healthcare started in 1989 in a finance role with Baxter Corporation. In 1998 he moved into marketing with Source Medical which subsequently became part of Cardinal Health Canada. He held roles in Sales Management, Business Development and National Accounts Management until leaving Cardinal in 2010 to join Invacare Canada where he was their General Manager. Vince is a long time board member of the Healthcare Supply Chain Network (HSCN) and also serves on the Board of Ability Online, a charity supporting children and young adults with disabilities.
Cheryl joined CHS in 2000 as part of the Quality & Regulatory team and has held several positions in her 16 years with the company, including Manager of the Quality and Regulatory manufacturing group in 2007 and most recently as Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs for our corporate head office. Cheryl has over 20 years’ manufacturing experience in Quality & Regulatory Affairs, beginning her Medical Device career with Bard Canada where she played a key role in implementing Health Canada’s revised regulations. Cheryl has lead several significant initiatives for CHS, including implementing and obtaining certification to the ISO 13485 quality management system and obtaining Medical Device approvals within Canada, U.S and Europe.
